The majority of installers will offer some sort of guarantee. But if that installer
then ceases trading, the customer may be left with no cover at all. With a Swish
conservatory, in the unlikely circumstances that a manufacturing or installation
fault becomes apparent and your installer has ceased to trade, your Swish insurance-backed
guarantee will come into play. This ensures that remedial work is carried out quickly
and effectively, and gives continued protection for up to 10 years after installation.
Insurance-backed guarantee
At Swish, we ensure that all our authorised installers are financially sound and
install conservatories to a high standard in line with all current legislation.
However it is a fact that, for a variety of reasons, thousands of installers cease
to trade every year. That’s why the Swish insurance-backed guarantee provides complete
peace of mind for all our customers.
The Swish insurance-backed guarantee is underwritten by a UK-based insurance company.
The policy is therefore subject to the regulation of the Financial Services Authority,
offering additional protection should it be required.
But we hope that you’ll never need to use your guarantee. That’s why we make sure
that all our authorised installers are independently checked –through on-site inspections,
through their trading record and through their financial status.
Every installer signs up to the Swish Code of Practice, which guarantees good health
and safety practices and high standards of customer care. On top of this, all installers
agree to ongoing independent inspections of the quality of their installations.
